Member-owned, Community-Driven, and Proudly Serving Central New York Since 1971

At Mohawk Valley Federal Credit Union, we are more than just a financial institution; we are a member-owned financial cooperative built on local trust, personal relationships, and mutual support. Since our founding, our goal has remained simple: to return earnings to our members in the form of lower loan rates, competitive savings yields, and personalized banking services that put people before profits.

Our Story & History

Over 50 Years of Localized Credit Union Service

Established in 1971, Mohawk Valley Federal Credit Union was formed to provide reliable, low-cost financial services to local public employees, workers, retirees, and their families. Starting as a small financial cooperative, we have grown into a full-service credit union with locations in Marcy and Utica, NY, serving members across Central New York while staying true to our local roots.
